I've gotten sucked into Street Racing and it seems pretty never-ending. A lot of the rewarding things come from bringing new members to the game and logging in every day.

Just wondering if there's any "fun" component to this and similar games, like making real money? :)

As you might have guessed, these games excel at one critical element: addictiveness. There is no ending to them, as can be observed by watching the power of the top people on the scoreboards grow continuously. Some people will pay money to the game-makers to buy themselves an edge, and in this way, the game-makers make money. Everyone else in the game exists to fire up the money-spenders' feelings of competition, and to draw ever more players. Very few have any prospect of profit by a player, so if you want to salvage any of your free time then get out now while you can, like I did :)
