We (some friends and I) were playing a lot of Counter Strike or even better Battlefield 2 or Battlefield 2142. Left 4 dead also was some fun.

We tried Call of Duty 4, which didn't work out for us, as it doesn't offer enough possibilities to work together as a team.

We are always searching for games that offer that kind of gameplay.

The last I heard from Battlefield - Bad Company 2 it should fit nicely into that description.

Are there others?

As I can only accept one answer I'll take the one that I like most, but will vote for each that could also be an answer to me.

	I'm really looking forward to BFBC2 as well, and the PC beta will start in December, so we shouldn't have long to wait. You might want to expand on what types of games you're interested in. I listed Borderlands as a possibility, but that might not fit in with your tastes. – Ryan Versaw Nov 13 at 18:05
	Mostly I'm looking for tactical shooters like BF. But as mentioned, Left 4 dead was also cool in coop. I didn't want to narrow it down too much, because I wanted to hear from games that are not fitting directly in my current field. I'll have a look at Borderlands asap. – StampedeXV Nov 15 at 15:43

Quite a few of my friends have been playing Borderlands lately, but this depends on what you're looking for. It allows four people to play at the same time and can be rather fun.

This doesn't really apply if you're only looking for a game that is strictly multiplayer (all players, no AI element).

As it really sounds like you're interested in some good teamwork, Team Fortress 2 is probably one of the best games that fits. It does a great job at encouraging teamwork and is quite well-balanced.

Urban Terror is well worth checking out. It's free and though it is pretty dated looking right now, the gameplay is top notch. It responds especially well to team play and there are lots of players out there already.
